After many years of lying in dormancy, on November 29, 2022, Education Indonesia, a brand under EKONID, revived the Human Capital Club (HCC), a gathering point where professionals and practitioners from the field of Human Resources (HR) discuss the latest trends and challenges concerning the profession.

Held at EKONID’s office in Menteng, Jakarta, the new HCC brought up the theme of “After the Pandemic: What’s New and What’s Changed” as HR practitioners throughout the world grapple with new procedures needed to mitigate the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the so-called new normal in regard to work-from-home and work-from-office policies, among other related topics.

In providing insight to what’s new and what’s changed after the pandemic, Education Indonesia invited Mr. Tito Dipokusumo, Senior HR partner at PT Bayer Indonesia, and Ms. Christine Effendy, Managing Director of Asian Management Consulting. Mr. Tito shared his experience on managing the human resources needed to further digitalize his company, while Ms. Christine shared her knowledge on how HR practitioners can collaborate with vocational schools to gain a well-prepared workforce.

Over 20 HR leads and representatives attended the event, where a lively discussion was also had on the latest HR trends regarding the hybrid work-model, Gen-Z employees and their recruitment standards, as well as the methods in which HR practitioners can help senior employees adapt with the digital age.

Overall, the revived HCC was a resounding success and EKONID would like to thank all parties who participated and helped made the event possible.
