A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN COMPANIES AND VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS, QUALITY CONTROLED AND CERTIFIED BY EKONID

In order to support German and Indonesian companies in Indonesia in their effort to qualify and employ appropriate personnel matching their companies’ HR needs and their development strategies, EKONID in cooperation with the Association of German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) offers the organization, coordination, quality control and certification of Dual Vocational Education Programs according to the German model and standards of Dual Vocational Education.

The German standard 2,5 to 3-year programs provide a specific qualification in addition to the already existing Indonesian national programs. Their curricula cover the elements of the corresponding German-system professional education that the Indonesian national education programs do not contain. The final examination of the German Standard programs follow the principles and standards of the corresponding professional examinations under the German vocational education system. Successful apprentices benefit from a double certification: the Indonesian national one by the vocational schools and the German standard one by EKONID / DIHK.
