GDVET is a program of EKONID. Coordinated by the Training and Education Department, the program aims to bridge the world of business and industry. One of the many ways this is done is by partnering with local vocational education schools. Seeing that vocational education students in Indonesia have the potential to become excellent and competent human resources, GDVET helps in improving the standards of vocational education graduates so they can immediately work in the industrial world.

As the only organization licensed to conduct German Dual Vocational Education and Training in Indonesia, the GDVET team strive to provide comprehensive programs for both parties, including schools and companies. It is a 2.5 to 3-year program that provides training and education for students, teachers, and employees using the German standard vocational education system.

Furthermore, EKONID also holds events, certification services, curriculum preparation, and examinations for certain fields that are matched to company needs, German standards, and also towards the values of Indonesian education and culture.

Under the supervision of the IHK and DIHK, the implementation of Training and Education for certain fields receives direction, verification, validation, and supervision from experts from those organizations. Some of the majors offered in GDVET are:
